Digimon Adventure Online Games

From LoveToKnow Online

Digimon are little virtual pets that have hatched from Earth's telecommunications network and you can join in the fun by playing Digimon adventure online games. Most are role-playing games (RPGs) and require some time to play, but even the console games and Battle Card games take some time to evolve your Digimon. Check out some of the available games below.

Digimon RPG

At Online Digimon Game you can download and play an online RPG set in the Digimon universe. It looks and feels like an old school 2.5D graphic adventure. You can train and level up Digimon, take on tons of quests, and journey through a huge world as you attempt to become the best Digimon Trainer the world has ever seen.

Note: In order to play the game for free, you are required to download and install Zango. After installing, it will give you complete access to the game. Zango is adware (similar to any program that is free and supported with rotating ads) so you may need to add it to your spyware program.

Digimon Memory Game

If you want to give your memory a workout, then go to EasyMemory Digimon and play a memory game based on Digimon/ There is also a Pokemon memory game available. It is basically a concentration game where you digitally flip over two cards at a time to try to find matches. If the two cards don't match, then you try again, using your memory to keep track of cards so you can get those matches on later turns. Easy Memory can be used online, or you can download an offline version.

Digimon Adventure Online Games: the Digimon RPG

If you have a little knowledge of the Korean language, then you can check out another Digimon RPG. The game is a decent 2.5D top-down view RPG that uses all the elements of the Digimon universe. You can set your web browser to translate most of the site into English. That can get you started signing up for an account and learning how to play the game. Actual gameplay is in Korean, but there are usually American players on so you can communicate in English with them and potentially have your questions answered. Even if you don't want to learn the Korean language, any veteran of RPGs should be able to figure out common elements such as menus, hit points, card values, etc.

Digimon Tamers

Digimon Tamers uses an online forum to create and raise Digimon. Browse the forums to travel, compare, and fight (as well as perform other tasks that increase attributes). In the fighting forums, you can challenge other players on a 1-on-1 level or even participate in a 2 versus 2 battle. The site is relatively new and right now there are few players, but you can learn valuable insight that you can apply to playing Digimon in the real world.

Digimon Sagas

Digimon Sagas used to be named Digimon Wild. There are over 400 Digimon that you can become. At first, you download the game, but if you really want to enjoy it, you must create a key and log in to their online servers. There are usually a number of players online so there's a good chance you can battle someone or just meet other fans of the franchise.
