Online banking can help when you find it difficult to juggle paying bills and visiting the bank with your family and career. What used to take up to an hour, can now take mere minutes as funds are transferred or utilities are paid over the Internet.

Benefits of Online Banking
With Internet banking one can:
- Pay bills - Most credit card and utility companies offer this as option. If this is the case with those to whom you owe money, it would be within your best interest to register at their websites and take them up on their offer. You can either arrange to have the bank pay the bills each month, or this can be done automatically. It’s convenient and saves on postage. If you do decide to pay your bills online, be sure to request that no envelope comes with the invoices. This keeps paper from being wasted.
- Transfer funds - Thanks to online account access, you can transfer funds among different accounts without having to step into a bank or take out your ATM card.
- Arrange payment – Arrange to have employers pay you via PayPal or directly to your bank account. Either way, the money is automatically deposited for you.
- Communicate with Customer Service - Rather than endure the eternal hold, contact customer service online. It's not always live, but in most cases you receive a response within a couple of hours.
The only thing you can’t do via online banking is withdraw cash from your computer. At the rate we’re going, however, it’s only a matter of time.
